Hello! My names is Elyssa Ryan and I am in my final semester of the Media Communications program at Cambrian College with a diploma in Special Events Management from George Brown College. During the course of my studies at both Cambrian and George Brown, I have had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals on topics such as business fundamentals, marketing tools and strategies, management skills and processes, and even photography and graphic design.

I have worked in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years, where I have learned to communicate with customers, solve problems, think critically, and remain calm in fast-paced and stressful environment.

I am always eager to learn new skills and do my best in any capacity, which has helped me grow in both my personal and professional life. My goal as an aspiring public relations professional, is to assist entrepreneurs in the growth of their business by utilizing modern techniques, maintaining connections, and optimizing workflow.
